Field Day Report: Those that attended had a great time. You should have seen David (KC7USS) and Omer (AD7DY) putting up their giant loop antenna! Stan (KF7LTT) made 9 more contacts than last year on PSK31, but, Omer (AD7DY) was (as usual) the shining star of MCARC contacts. We had quite a few people “just stop by” (including a couple of VIP’s) and some of the newer Hams of the club try making contacts on the two radio’s that were set up. Unfortunately, Field Day had to be cut a couple of hours short due to Thunder & Lightning! Then you should have seen David & Omer scramble to cut down their antenna!
And the food was pretty good too.
