The Mason County Amateur Radio Club will meet Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 8:30 AM at the Alpine Way Retirement Apartments in Shelton, Washington. (Coffee provided)   Need directions? Y’all come join us.

Field Day is coming up (Field Day is always the fourth full weekend of June, beginning at 1800 UTC Saturday and running through 2059 UTC Sunday. Field Day 2014 is June 28-29)! This year we plan to set up at Hunter’s Field; just North of Shelton on Highway 101. It’s really pretty easy to get to! Tell your friends! Tell your family! Tell your in-laws!

Address is: 13399 U.S. 101. @47.2596344,-123.1494728 for the GPS inclined. North of Shelton on U.S. 101 for the Map Literate. Bout 1 mile North of the Airport for the Good-Ol-Boys. There’ll be a sign next to the road for the rest of us.

EOC Exercise Saturday May 31, 2014

INSTRUCTIONS FOR EOC TO EOC EXERCISE SATURDAY MAY 31 2014

The reason for the late notification is the state did not notify the Mason County Division of Emergency Management of the exercise. They were unable to notify Art or myself.

Mason County will participate in the EOC to EOC Drill in the following manner.

#1 The Drill will take place on the 146.720 frequency.

#2 The Drill will be held on Saturday May 31.

#3 The Drill will commence at 1030 AM

#4 The Drill will end at 1100 AM

#5 W7IMU Art Hall will be the net control for the EOC.
