Every year, thousands of amateur radio operators get on the air during the last full weekend in June. The ARRL says: “ARRL Field Day is the single most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada. Each year over 35,000 amateurs gather with their clubs, friends or simply by themselves to operate.”
We’ll have at least two Field Day stations this year. The North Club is planning an event high in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains, and the South Club will hold Field Day at Fire Station 13 on Cloquallum Road.
Stay tuned to this space as we will be updating details as this important weekend gets closer.
