Several very interesting ham radio projects were brought to the January 2010 club meeting by members. Need to get a wire over a tree? Marsh built a launcher to do exactly that. How about a homemade beam antenna, or an efficient ground-plane antenna? David brought some interesting testing equipment he had built, and Merle showed us an amazing project in which he converts signals to be able to work at microwave frequencies!
We’ll post articles with more detail soon, but to get things started here are some of the photos from today’s meeting.
