LOWLAND SNOW IS POSSIBLE IN WESTERN WASHINGTON THIS WEEKEND.

A WEAK WEATHER SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN WASHINGTON SATURDAY.
THE SNOW LEVEL WILL BE BELOW 1000 FEET OVER MUCH OF THE AREA AND WET
SNOW IS POSSIBLE ON THE HILLS. TEMPERATURES ARE NOT LIKELY TO BE
COOL ENOUGH FOR SNOW TO STICK TO THE PAVEMENT IN THE LOWLANDS
THROUGH SATURDAY BUT EXPECT WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS IN THE
MOUNTAINS.

ANOTHER WEATHER SYSTEM WILL REACH THE AREA SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT.
THIS WILL OCCUR WHILE HIGH PRESSURE OVER BRITISH COLUMBIA PUSHES
COLD AIR INTO WESTERN WASHINGTON THROUGH THE FRASER RIVER VALLEY. IF
SNOW FALLS INTO FRASER OUTFLOW THERE IS A MUCH BETTER CHANCE OF
ACCUMULATION.

THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF UNCERTAINTY IN THE FORECAST. SOME COMPUTER
MODELS SUGGEST IT WILL BE TOO WARM FOR LOWLAND SNOW THIS WEEKEND.
DETAILS OF THE FORECAST ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE SO WATCH FOR UPDATED
WEATHER FORECASTS THIS WEEKEND.
