The Mason County Amateur Radio Club will meet Saturday, July 08, 2017 @ 8:30 AM at the Alpine Way Continuing Care Community in Shelton, Washington. (Coffee provided) Y’all come join us. Everybody is welcome! Remember that Testing is immediately after the meeting. (See sidebar.) Also be sure to check our Forums occasionally for “stuff.”

Field Day went great. As long as you didn’t want to make any contacts! Everyone had equipment or antenna problems. Even our resident antenna experts, AD7Dy & KC7USS, had problems until late. AD7DY-Omer did make a butt-ton of contacts though. Listening to other Ham’s on the bands afterwards I heard a lot of complaints about propagation and the dirth of contacts this year; so we weren’t alone in our tribulations. Still had a lot of fun though (but OMG was it hot out there)! Pictures are here or click the link at right.
